- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 10 Oreo cookies, crushed
For the Topping
- 6 Oreo cookies, crushed
- Whipped cream, optional
- Whole Oreo cookies for decoration
Instructions
1. Prepare the Oreo Crust
Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
Mix the crumbs with melted butter until evenly combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan or suitable cheesecake dish.
Place it in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
2. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling
Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat again until creamy.
3. Add the Whipped Cream
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
Avoid overmixing so the filling stays light and fluffy.
4. Add the Oreos
Fold the crushed Oreo cookies into the cheesecake filling.
Mix gently until evenly distributed.
5. Assemble
Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled Oreo crust.
Smooth the top with a spatula.
6. Chill
Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4–6 hours, preferably overnight.
This allows the cheesecake to set properly.
7. Decorate and Serve
Before serving, top with crushed Oreos, whipped cream, and whole Oreo cookies.
Slice and enjoy chilled.
